License Agreement and Hosting for Local Comic Shop Day® 2024

THE FEE TO REGISTER FOR LOCAL COMIC SHOP DAY® IS $20.
THE GOAL: TO PROMOTE LOCAL COMIC SHOPS.

IMPLEMENTATION

1. The date of LCSD is the last Saturday in September (September 28, 2024).
2. No LCSD branded books to be solicited for the 2024 event.  They will return in 2025.

WHY REGISTER?

By registering:

1.  You will be eligible for special deals that we negotiate for registered storefronts.
2.  You will be eligible for freebies from Publishers and other vendors.
3.  Ability to order ComicsPRO variants.
4.  Your store will be listed on the Local Comic Shop Day® website.
5.  Facebook advertising to the zip code of your store.   


Event Rules

All locally owned independent retailers are invited to participate.

A Local Comic Shop is defined as a brick and mortar business that sells a substantial amount and/or percentage of comics and graphic novels. Qualifying comic specialty shops must be locally owned, not be publicly traded, and not have more than 35 storefronts.

TWO RULES

1. If a publisher provides an item, please follow the guidelines set down by that publisher and/or Distributor for selling that item. (eg. no breaking street date).

2. Please follow the the guidelines for using the Local Comic Shop Day logo and and name set down by ComicsPRO.
