SPONSORSHIP FOR 2021 ANNUAL COMIC INDUSTRY MEETING

Thank you ahead of time, for your interest in participating in the COMICSPRO ONLINE COMIC INDUSTRY CONFERENCE. Many retailers, publishers, distributors and other vendors consider the COMICSPRO COMIC INDUSTRY CONFERENCE to be the most useful and productive retail-vendor interaction in the industry. 


Because we are having an ONLINE meeting, we are aiming for a higher than normal participation from retailers, publishers, creators, distributors, and other vendors.


All participating vendors will have an online booth that retailers can visit. Each booth will have a 3-5 minute video, a place for pdfs, links, information about your product and company, and a way to chat with visitors. (See below). Some vendors will also speak to the entire group and also participate in roundtables.


We plan to have seminars, workshops, speeches, etc. If you are interested in speaking about a subject that retailers may be interested in, please contact marco@comicspro.org.

2 TYPES OF RETAILER REGISTRATION


FREE: Retailers can go to virtual exhibit hall and some of the lectures. 


PAID: Retailers can go to ALL the events including roundtables.

They will also get a a box mailed to them with Publisher/Vendor give-aways and promos. 


2 TYPES OF CREATOR REGISTRATION


FREE: Most Creators will be invited free of charge to our meeting.


PAID: Some Creators may want to have a virtual exhibit booth to show off recent work or interact more with retailers and publishers. They would register as Patron Sponsors.

EXPECTATIONS


>> Get up to speed quickly! Our convention software is easy to learn.


>> Generate leads, show off your company and communicate with retailers, even before the meeting starts!

>> By using pre-recorded videos, you can concentrate on networking and communication during the conference!



>> The event will be up for 3 months after the conference, so attendees can go back to see what they missed!

TWO TYPES OF VENDOR/PUBLISHER SPONSORSHIP


There are two types of Vendor/Publisher Sponsorship Levels.


Patron Sponsors have virtual exhibit booths.  ($500) If there is room, Patron Sponsors may also participate in roundtables.



Premier Sponsors have virtual exhibit booths, participate in roundtables, and speak in front of the group.   

($1500 to $2500).

PATRON SPONSORS


Patron Sponsorship is the base sponsorship level for the ComicsPRO online Comic Industry Conference. For $500, Patron sponsors can·      



  • have one representative attend all open meetings.
  • host a virtual exhibit booth that has a short video, pdfs, photos, links, special offers, plus a chat function for communicating with retailers.
  • add company name to our Sponsorship web page, meeting program guide, meeting press release, and promotional materials.  
  •  interact with many of the industry’s best retailers and other vendors.
  • donate items to send to Roundtable participants


For additional fees, Patron sponsors can:



  • Participate in the roundtables, if there is space. (+ $500)
  • Have a 1/2 page ad (+ $150) or a full page ad (+ $200) in our digital program.
  • Send more than one attendee to the meeting. ($150 for each additional participant).



PREMIER SPONSOR


Premier Sponsorship is designed for publishers and vendors that want to speak in front of the group, host an exhibit booth, and participate in roundtables. There are 3 levels of Premier Sponsor, depending on the length of time that your company wants to speak in front of the entire group.


  • 8 minute speech - $1,500
  • 12 minute speech - $2,000
  • 16 minute speech - $2,500


Each Premier Sponsor gets the same benefits as the Patron Sponsor.


Premier Sponsors can also:


  • Provide an 8 minute, 12 minute, or 16 minute pre-recorded video that will play during the meeting. We are asking ALL vendors to make pre-recorded videos so that vendors can concentrate on chatting with retailers while the video is streaming. Additionally, having pre-recorded vidoes will allow us to reduce technical problems that sometimes hamper online live presentations. (If you need help making a video, let us know! We can help you record it on Zoom so that it is ready to go!).
  • Participate in roundtable sessions with around 100 to 150 retailers.
  • Have a full page ad in our digital program.
  • Have 2 people from your company participate in our conference.


Premiere Sponsors can also send additional attendees, past two, at the cost of $150 per attendee.



ROUNDTABLES


At our yearly meeting we usually have 32 to 40 vendor roundtable spots. This year, since we are having an online meeting, we will only have 16 to 24 spots. Priority for roundtable participation will be given to Premier Sponsors and/or sponsors donating items for roundtable gift boxes.


Through the roundtable process, the vendor remains stationary while small retailer groups circulate amongst the vendors. Vendors usually choose the topic of discussion for the roundtables; we encourage vendors to discuss future projects, show off new product, and generate new business. Each session lasts 10 minutes.

VIRTUAL EXHIBIT BOOTH


Each Patron Sponsor and Premier Sponsor will get a Vritual Exhibit Booth.


Each booth can have a short video, pdfs, photos, links, other information, and chat area. Retailers can visit your booth at set times during the conference. They will also be able to visit the booth before and after the conference if you would like. (Up to 1 month before and 3 months after).


Set up the exhibit booth once and leave it alone! Or keep changing the booth for retailers to come and see new things!

B - Prerecorded Video that Exhibitor provides. Please keep these videos around 3 to 5 minutes. You can attach them to our video hosting platform or use Vimeo or Youtube to host.


C - Retailers can sign up for more info.


D Coupons, Special offers. We recommend that every vendor offer a special convention-only offer. We will be letting our retailers know that they have to come to your booth to find out about the special offer.


E - PDFs and Photos. If you would like retailers to read an upcoming comic .... .or would like to attach a catalog for them to download, here is the place to post that.


F- Chat Function . Text chats can be turned into video chats. Also you can link to a zoom discussion.

INFORMATION


You will get information.


You will get a list of retailers who signed up to get more information from you. You will get ideas, from retailers, that you can take back to your company. If you'd like, we can share with you aggregate ratings of your presentation, so that you can massage your messaging. Finally, we plan on surveying retailers and publishers about industry issues and sharing that information with the group.

ONLINE FORUMS


You will be able to interact with retailers and other vendors/distributors by posting and responding to forum posts. Forum topics can be started by any participant. There may be forums such as: Graphic Novels for Children, Best Manga, How to survive Covid-19, Using Grading Services, etc. Moderators will be on hand to make sure that the forums stay on-topic, cogent, and professional.

GAMIFICATION


WHOVA's gamification functions, will allow us to increase participation. So for instance, we will be giving prizes to the retailers who attend the most meetings ..... check in to the most booths ....post the coolest pictures of their stores, etc.


We plan to make this event fun as well as educational!
